Avela Corporation was founded by our CEO Gary Young as a manufacturing sourcing company connecting clients with Chinese factories that were proper, and profitable, fits for their needs. Our Houston office provides a conduit for English-speaking clients while our Shanghai office is staffed with professionals fluent in English, Mandarin and regional Chinese dialects. This is a tremendous asset in bridging language and cultural differences to accomplish the goals of our Western manufacturing clients.
During our 17-plus years involvement with China its middle class has matured while we have established a diverse network of proven Chinese professional associations through the course of our normal business operations. Concurrently, the China market has opened up to foreign consumer products to meet the demands of its growing middle class.
Generally speaking, China is primed for Western goods, but this does not mean that Western marketing rules and strategies apply. To bridge the differences, Avela Corporation has established Avela Consulting to apply our China experience and network assets to accomplish the goals of Western marketing clients.
